Lavish hosted our first-ever tweet up event, Naughty or Nice Holiday Bash, late last month at Hennessey Dining Lounge (53 W Broadway).  Guests were treated to an exclusive evening filled with entertainment, holiday-infused cocktail specials, networking and nibbles, and of course, a never ending list of prizes.  The night was documented by the ladies of The Lookout Blog and snapshotted by Denise Lin Photography.  The night was hosted by one of Vancouver’s well-known tweeters, Amie Nguyen, who started the evening off with a bang.

We also had an array of sponsors for the event whom distributed a number of prizes for our Twitter contest.  We had the pleasure of having a few on-site sponsors for the evening: Luxe Lashes, Jaide Clothing, Pixel Tots, and The Queen of Jeans.  Luxe Lashes, a regular sponsor for many of our past events, provided a stunning presentation of their popular false lashes, which I’m sure many of the ladies were wearing that night.  Pixel Tots was also on location with their fun and interactive photobooth which provided instant Polaroid-style photos during the event.  The Queen of Jeans was also on-site for the event, showing off their flattering, bootylicious denim.  Jaide Clothing provided an eye-catching display of cocktail dresses, one of them stylishly worn by the night’s hostess, Amie.

The evening ended off with a special performance by our very own dance team.  Amie Nguyen even surprised us with her own sexy rendition of the Christmas classic, “Santa Baby”.  With everyone’s hands filled with delicious appies from the kitchen and bubbly from the bar, DJ Yurie took us late into the night changing up the vibe spinning old-school beats and hip hop.

Overall, Naughty or Nice was a huge success!  With 150+ people mixing and mingling, Hennessey was jam-packed for the whole evening.  We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended and helped make the event an astounding success!  A special thank you to our sponsors who contributed prizes for the evening: Eco Wash by Bismark, L’Atelier Hair Boutique, Bangs Salon,  Starbucks, European Tanning, Cactus Club, Bard on the Beach, and VckyStyxx. The Taboo Naughty but Nice Sex Show provides an upscale adult playground with a main stage show featuring a latex fashion show, burlesque performance, pole dancing and more. Bottle service shouldn’t just be for the A-list celebrities and the wealthy. When you actually crunch the numbers, you realize that you are getting more then a top shelf liquor but also a VIP experience. Bottle service runs from $175-$350 in downtown Vancouver on the weekends. This usually includes all your mixers and chase, taxes, gratuity, table reservation, personal VIP server and sometimes even complimentary cover for all or half the group. $350 may sound like a lot, but remember that this price includes your cover/drinks and the luxury of being treated like a VIP. Plus after spending $6-$9 per drink for 6 or more of your friends you end up spending just as much, if not even more!
