On July 7th 2012, the BC Cancer Foundation’s Underwear Affair will have people flooding the streets with boxers and briefs! Creativity is a must, so don’t forget to get out those wacky outfits with your runners.
This is a great way for Vancouverites to come together and support each other while giving a voice to those ‘invisible’ cancers below the waist. Proceeds will go towards research and care done by the BC Cancer Foundation. This season, the event has acquired media sponsors such as Global BC and The Beat 94.5… But the cause still needs your help!
There are two choices for the course: a 5KM walk or a 10KM run around Vancouver. The participants will get a special “Winning Canada Timing Chip” that will electronically record start and end times. No matter how fast you walk or run, the race is about having a great time for an even greater cause. Don’t forget to attend the EXPOsed After-party to see all the teams’ times!
