Think of the California Dreams music video with the cupcake bras, short shorts, and corset halter tops.
But if you think you can’t pull off the short shorts quite like Ms. Katy Perry, then there are a few fashion trends straight from the spring 2012 fashion week that anyone can work with.
- Denim: Colourful, candy inspired pastels took over the runway this year and the most popular piece being pastel crop denim. They go great with either wedges for the day or some cute stilettos for the night.
- Shoes: Amp up your LBD with a sweet treat of a pair of candy-coloured shoes. These are great way to add to any nighttime outfit.
- Nails: Candy coloured nails also add a great pop of colour to your look. Pastel nail polish is the perfect way to introduce the pretty feminine color to your look.
Any of these will have you looking like a cal-i-fornia girl at the Candyland event!
